Create DVD Menus with Animated Backgrounds in Encore
Many Eye Scream Factory DVD Clips are specially designed to be used with accompanying Eye Scream Factory DVD menu and packaging design template sets. This makes it easy to create a menu for an animated DVD background. For instance, our Theater Sign Template Set features a font that is made to look like the plastic letters in an Art Deco theater's sign; the text can be customized in Adobe Encore to reflect the name of your movie. The Theater Sign DVD Clip can be used to replace the still background of the template with the text from the template still fitting in the sign.
To use an Eye Scream Factory DVD menu template with its related DVD Clip, first import the menu using the Import as Menu feature, and import the clip using the Import as Asset feature. Then, with the menu selected in the Project panel, click the Motion tab in the Properties panel, and drag the Video pick whip to the video file in the Project panel.
Finally, in the Layers Tab, click the 'Eye' Icon next to the Background Folder to hide the original background. Now you can customize your menu as you like.
