Add Photos To Your DVD Case Inserts

Many Eye Scream Factory DVD Case Insert templates include optional Photo Drop Zones. These drop zones let you add your own photos to the Insert.

Open up the DVD Case Insert file in Adobe Photoshop, and double-click on the "Title of Film" text layer to type in your DVD’s name. If you’d like to add your own photo to the cover, copy and paste it into a layer above the Photo Drop Zone layer. Then, right-click on the photo layer you just created and select 'Create Clipping Mask'.

Use the Move Tool (V) to reposition the photo so that it’s visible through the Drop Zone. You may also change the scale of the image by selecting Free Transform (Control -T) and dragging the corners of the bounding box. (Hold down the Shift key so that the image is not distorted.) Press Enter to finalize the transform.

You will notice that some Eye Scream Factory DVD Case Insert files include two separate groups of scene listings on the back of the case - one with photo drop zones and one without photo drop zones. You may preview the groups by clicking on the Eye icon next to each layer. If you use the ‘Scenes Text’ group, you may change the scene names the same way you changed the Title of Film layer. If you use the ‘Scenes Photo’ group, you may change the scene names in the same manner and then add your own photos to the drop zones.
